This is how you clean your camera sensor properly

1. Blow away dust

First remove the loose dust and coarse particles from the sensor with a bellows. This first step ensures that no small particles of dirt cause scratches during wet cleaning. This way you can optimally prepare the sensor for subsequent, gentle cleaning.

2. Moisten Sensor Swab

Moisten the cleaning head of the Sensor Swab with one or two drops of the special cleaning fluid. The swab should only become slightly moist to avoid excessive amounts of liquid. This controlled humidification ensures effective dirt removal without leaving any residue.

3. Swipe across the sensor

Move the wet swab over the sensor in a consistent motion - once from left to right and then in the opposite direction. Due to the exact width of the swab, the entire sensor is covered in just one swipe. Our free e-book contains detailed instructions.

Ich war erst etwas skeptisch ob das wirklich was bringt und ob die Verunreinigung tatsächlich auf dem Sensor oder doch auf bzw im Objektiv ist. Es hat sich aber definitiv gelohnt und die Testbilder (Vorher/Nachher) haben es bewiesen. Nur der Sensor war verschmutzt und nach zwei Durchgängen mit jeweils einem neuen Swab gab es keine Flecken mehr auf dem Bild.
